Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Job Overview We are seeking a ENERGETIC skilled Lift Operator to join our dynamic Warehouse and Production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate various lifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely. Perform order picking using RF scanners and ensure accurate shipping and receiving of products. Assist in the organization and management of warehouse inventory through effective materials handling practices. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain an efficient workflow and adhere to safety regulations. Execute heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Support the team in various warehouse functions including shipping & receiving, order picking, and inventory management. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including cranes and forklifts is essential. Mechanical knowledge and experience with warehouse management systems are advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
