Forklift Operator/Material Handler
Mt West```Job Summary``` We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and other material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution center setting. Your main objective will be to safely and efficiently move and stack materials, load and unload trucks, and support the overall logistics operations. ```Duties``` - Operate forklifts - Load and unload trucks with materials or products - Stack and organize materials in designated areas - Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate records - Inspect equipment for any damages or malfunctions - Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times - Assist in general warehouse duties as needed ```Experience``` - Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment - Proficiency in using various types of forklifts such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, and lift trucks - Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and best practices - Familiarity with distribution center operations, shipping, and receiving processes - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Warehouse experience: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: Piedmont, SD 57769 (Required) Work Location: In person
