Key Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. Load and unload trucks, trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles. Move products and materials to designated storage, staging, and production areas. Stack, organize, and retrieve pallets according to warehouse procedures. Keep forks low while traveling and maintain safe distances from pedestrians, equipment, racks, and loading-dock edges. Use dock plates, wheel chocks, trailer restraints, and other loading equipment as required. Do not operate equipment that is damaged or unsafe; immediately remove it from service and notify a supervisor. Report accidents, injuries, spills, product damage, and unsafe conditions immediately. Participate in safety meetings, training, and incident-prevention activities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous forklift or warehouse experience preferred. Current forklift certification preferred; employer-provided training may be available. Ability to read labels, work orders, safety instructions, and shipping documents. Basic counting, measurement, and inventory skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
