Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Job Summary Join our dynamic logistics team as a Forklift Operator and Material Handler, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations. In this energetic position, you'll operate various types of material handling equipment—including forklifts, and pallet jacks—to efficiently load, unload, move, and organize products and inventory. Your expertise will help maintain safety standards in production and warehouse environments while supporting order picking, shipping, and receiving processes. Duties Safely operate forklift, and other material handling equipment following OSHA safety protocols. Pick and prepare orders with precision using order picker equipment to meet customer specifications. Manage inventory through warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage. Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound/outbound shipments and maintaining detailed logs. Support production plant distribution tasks such as manual handling of materials, heavy lifting, and organizing stock for efficient storage. Qualifications Proven experience operating forklift trucks and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and safety standards such as OSHA regulations. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining proper ergonomic practices. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment under safety standards in production. SHIFT: Monday To Thursday 2:00pm to 12:00am.
