Forklift Operator - Lumber Warehouse
Warman Home Centre LPLove working outdoors, staying active, and keeping things moving? Warman Home Centre is looking for a reliable, safety-minded Forklift Operator to join our crew! You’ll take the wheel of all-terrain forklifts to move, load, and unload products safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on, high-energy role where you’ll be on your feet for much of the day and regularly lifting 25–80 lbs. Safety is always our top priority. This is a safety-sensitive position, so the successful candidate must follow our drug-free workplace policy. Drug testing may be required in certain situations under our health and safety policies. New to forklifts? No problem! Experience is a great bonus, but it isn’t required. We’ll provide hands-on, on-the-job training so you can build confidence, learn the ropes, and get rolling. Bring your flexibility, too—you’ll need to be available every second Saturday and ready to jump into overtime when things get busy, especially during peak season. Your day-to-day adventure: Take the wheel and safely operate a forklift over uneven terrain Keep things moving by loading, unloading, and transporting lumber yard materials Stack and organize products so everything is in the right place Give equipment a daily check and flag any maintenance needs Follow company policies and safety procedures every time Help keep the yard clean, organized, and running like clockwork Jump in and support general warehouse duties as needed What makes you a great fit? Your must-haves: Permanent Canadian residency and the ability to communicate effectively in English, both reading and writing The strength and stamina to load, unload, and transport lumber yard materials, regularly lifting 25–80 lbs.
