Forklift Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Hyster Driver to join our logistics team! In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty Hyster forklifts and other commercial vehicles to efficiently move, load, and unload freight within our warehouse and yard areas. Your expertise in shuttle driving, heavy equipment operation, and route driving will ensure the smooth flow of goods throughout our facility. Duties Safely operate Hyster forklifts, dump trucks, flatbeds, and other heavy equipment to load and unload freight Drive shuttle trucks and route vehicles between different warehouse zones or external locations Load and unload pallets using pallet jacks or manual handling techniques while adhering to safety protocols Conduct routine inspections of vehicles such as tractor-trailers, box trucks, and tanker trucks to ensure proper functioning Assist with moving heavy equipment or freight within the warehouse using appropriate tools like forklifts or tow trucks Maintain accurate logs of all vehicle movements, deliveries, pickups, and inspection reports Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules, safety procedures, and delivery updates Requirements Proven experience in commercial driving, including shuttle driving and delivery driver roles Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, forklift certification preferred Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and heavy haul operations Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using pallet jacks or manual methods Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and dispatchers Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is highly desirable Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with bus driving or school bus driving is a plus Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform moving tasks regularly in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Hyster Driver and become an essential part of our logistics operation!
