Key Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect product loads for accuracy and ensure materials are moved to the correct locations.
• Transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
• Operate levers and controls for lifting devices, including forklifts and hoists.
• Load and unload materials from pallets, skids, and boxes manually or mechanically.
• Secure materials and products for transport to designated areas.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Support timely and accurate movement of inventory throughout the warehouse or facility.
• Report equipment concerns, load discrepancies, or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Required Qualifications
• Current forklift certification is required.
• Previous experience selecting inventory is required.
• Previous inventory management experience is required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and warehouse distribution practices is preferred.
Physical Requirements
• Frequent use of arms, hands, wrists, fingers, legs, ankles, and feet.
• Ability to bend, squat, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to safely perform material-handling duties in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow workplace safety procedures.
