Forklift Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a Forklift Operator to support warehouse distribution and keep inventory moving accurately and efficiently. The role involves operating material-handling equipment, fulfilling orders, and maintaining organized work areas. Duties Operate forklifts and other approved equipment to move, load, unload, and stage products safely. Pick, verify, and prepare orders for shipment using order documents Use a warehouse management system (WMS) to record inventory movements, update order status, and locate products. Assist with receiving, put-away, replenishment, cycle counts, and general warehouse organization. Inspect equipment before use and report damage, maintenance needs, or unsafe conditions. Follow warehouse safety procedures and keep aisles and work areas clear. Coordinate with coworkers and supervisors to meet daily workflow and accuracy expectations. Requirements Previous forklift experience; experience in warehouse distribution is preferred. Familiarity with order picking , inventory handling, and warehouse processes. Experience with a clamp truck , order picker , or other material-handling equipment is an asset. Basic mechanical knowledge to identify equipment issues and complete routine checks. Basic math skills for counting, verifying quantities, and checking order information. Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and remain active throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to safe work practices. Ability to learn warehouse procedures and use a WMS or similar inventory system. Pay: $18.25-$24.88 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week Work Location: In person
