Forklift Operator

Our team is growing at Love Beets! Summary The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of pallets and materials throughout the facility. This position supports production by transporting goods, picking sales orders, unloading and loading trucks, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Operator ensures compliance with safety standards, contributes to departmental KPIs, and assists production teams as needed. The Warehouse Operator will report to the Warehouse Supervisor. STATUS: Full Time LOCATION: Onsite SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 5:00 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Responsibilities Pick Sales Orders using the Just Foods ERP system under the direction of the Warehouse Coordinator. Safely unload and offload trucks. Transport pallets from production, record consumption/output, and store materials in designated locations. Organize warehouse pallets efficiently to support daily operations. Assist production teams when a forklift operator is needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. Follow all PPE requirements, including steel toe boots, safety glasses, hair/beard nets, hard hats, and reflective jackets. Support achievement of department KPIs as assigned. Maintain consistent and positive attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor. Attributes Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material handling. Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and moving equipment. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with ERP systems such as Just Foods preferred. Basic proficiency in Excel for tracking or inventory. Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid forklift license. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work in warehouse and production environments with required PPE. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
