Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for a local automotive supplier near Owens Community College! The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries while ensuring efficiency and safety in a warehouse setting. Shifts/Pay: First shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm Saturdays as needed Mandatory overtime as needed First shift overtime: 6:30am to 4:00pm Responsibilities: - Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse - Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials - Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift - Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs - Follow safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the work area Experience: - Prior experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role - Proficiency in operating a Hi-Lo, order picker, or other types of forklifts - Knowledge of warehouse management procedures - Ability to perform equipment repairs and maintenance - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues - Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order picking Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
