Forklift Operator

Position Description: Responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely move, load, unload, and organize merchandise within the warehouse. Ensures products are handled properly, inventory is maintained, and shipments are prepared for distribution. Main Responsibilities: Operate forklifts to move and transport merchandise. Load and unload trucks and trailers. Organize and store products in designated warehouse areas. Assist with receiving and shipping operations. Inspect merchandise for damages. Follow warehouse safety procedures. Maintain an organized and clean work area. Requirements Warehouse experience and knowledge of warehouse operations, distribution, and inventory processes. Ability to operate material handling equipment and perform heavy lifting and other physical tasks safely. Basic math skills and familiarity with barcode scanning for logistics and warehouse management systems. Understanding of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) requirements and applicable safety standards. Preferred: Warehouse experience, order picking experience, and experience operating heavy equipment. Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
