Forklift Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, to move materials safely and efficiently. Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate handling of products. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Assist with heavy lifting and materials handling as needed. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution and materials handling. Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems. Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation. Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus but not required.
