Position Overview United Bags, Inc. is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Washington Court House, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to receive, move, stage, store, and load materials and finished products. You will play an important role in maintaining accurate inventory, supporting daily warehouse operations, and ensuring shipments are handled efficiently. The ideal candidate has previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials and products. Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled and positioned properly. Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and finished products. Pick, stage, and prepare products for outgoing shipments. Move and organize inventory throughout the warehouse. Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or warehouse management systems. Perform routine forklift and equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed. Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics team members to meet shipping and production deadlines. Follow company safety policies, procedures, and applicable OSHA requirements. QualificationsRequirements 1-2 years of forklift operating experience is required. Valid forklift certification is highly preferred. Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment is preferred. Ability to safely operate a forklift in warehouse and industrial settings. Ability to safely handle and move heavy materials. Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment for extended periods. Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Ability to work around machinery noise, dust, fluctuating temperatures, and moving equipment. Work Environment This position operates in a warehouse and industrial environment.
