Forklift Operator

General Packaging Corporation, a privately-held regional packaging manufacturer, is seeking to hire an experienced Forklift Driver. This is an important full-time position located at the company's warehouse in Conroe, TX. Responsibilities: Safely operate a forklift to transport lumber material, finished goods, and raw materials within the facility. Load and unload materials from production lines, and storage areas according to schedule Stack, stage, and organize corrugated products in accordance with safety and space optimization guidelines Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order in the warehouse and production areas Comply with all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA regulations Communicate effectively with production supervisors, machine operators, and warehouse personnel Occasional lifting (not more than 40lbs) Qualifications: Must have reliable transportation and valid and active drivers license Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred Minimum (2) years of forklift and warehouse experience is required Must be able to operate sit down forklift (We can provide certification) Excellent interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication skills (phone and email) Attentiveness, patience and attention to detail Ability to handle large workload Problem solving skills Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task Must be able to work effectively with other team members Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off Experience: Forklift: 2 years (Required) Language: Spanish (Required) Work Location: In person
