Forklift Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a warehouse environment. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling and warehouse management systems to ensure efficient operations. Duties Operate forklifts including Perform heavy lifting and ensure safe handling of products during loading and unloading processes. Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system. Assist in building pallets and preparing orders for shipment. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Skills Proficient in materials handling techniques with experience operating various types of forklifts Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order processing. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
