Job Description Sikheya Institute is assisting a partner organization in recruiting a Forklift Operator / General Labourer for a steel and metal company located in Etobicoke, Ontario. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual with previous counterbalance forklift experience who is comfortable performing both forklift operation and general labour duties in an industrial environment. The position involves approximately 50% forklift operation and 50% general labour work . Key Responsibilities Operate a counterbalance forklift to move and handle materials within the facility. Load, unload, and transport materials using a forklift. Assist with general labour and material-handling activities. Support daily warehouse and production operations as required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow workplace safety procedures and company guidelines. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Previous counterbalance forklift operating experience is required. Experience working in warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environments is preferred. Comfortable performing both forklift operation and general labour duties. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Strong attention to workplace safety. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
