We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Experienced Boat Yard Forklift Operator to join our award-winning team. Work Schedule Tuesday - Saturday. Job Summary The Forklift Operator is responsible for the daily care, organization, and safe movement of boats and equipment on the dealership premises. This role is essential for ensuring that the yard is maintained, boats are moved and stored safely. This position requires someone who is physically capable, detail-oriented, and enjoys working outdoors Responsibilities Move, organize and maintain boats and equipment in the yard using trailers, forklifts or dollies. Load or unload boats off of transport vehicles on to trailers or stands. Assist technicians with boat positioning, preparation for service or repairs. Perform general upkeep of the yard, including trash removal, sweeping, leaf blowing. Ensure the yard is clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff. Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs promptly to ensure optimal operation of all machinery. Collaborate with the Service Manager to coordinate daily operations and optimize workflow in a fast-paced setting. Qualifications Proven experience in a boat yard operating forklifts and pallet jacks. MUST have experience manuevering large vessels. Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic equipment repairs or troubleshooting. Basic knowledge of boats and marine equipment. Valid Driver License Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
