Eco PalletsJob Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts. Your primary focus will be to efficiently load and unload shipments, manage inventory movement, and support warehouse distribution operations. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts in accordance with OSHA and company safety protocols. Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety standards in production and warehouse operations. Conduct inventory management tasks including barcode scanning for logistics, order picking, and stock replenishment using warehouse management systems. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing goods against shipping documents. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal operation of all warehouse machinery. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for storage or shipment and maintaining accurate records of inventory movements. Follow manual handling procedures for heavy lifting tasks while ensuring compliance with safety standards in materials handling. Skills Proven experience operating forklift trucks (including lift trucks), reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo forklifts. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology used in logistics. Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols such as OSHA regulations and forklift safety standards. Ability to perform basic math calculations related to weights, measurements, and inventory counts. Skilled in materials handling techniques including manual handling of heavy items and proper lifting procedures. Experience with shipping & receiving processes, load & unload operations, and inventory management practices. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and warehouse supervisors effectively.
