Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

F.W. Webb, New England’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time 2nd Shift Forklift Operator for its Canton, MA location. Responsibilities: Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries. Perform pre-operation inspections on assign forklift to ensure it is in safe operating condition, reporting at once any safety concerns or operational issues. Storing all yard material in their proper locations Check that all trucks are loaded with proper fabrication, pipe, boxes, pallets, etc. Cleaning, stocking and organizing the yard area Effectively handle customer service issues and problem solve with efficiency Manage customer deliveries. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Forklift experience Basic math skills Current Mass HE-1C hoisting license a plus Ability to interpret truck load sheets and packing lists Must be able to lift 50lbs Must be able to handle the heat of summer and the cold of winter as this is an outside position. Must adhere to all safety standards Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to multi-task and a high level of customer service We are unable to sponsor employment visas now or in the future, and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
