Menzner Hardwoods is seeking a qualified individual for a Forklift Room Operator role at our Somerset, KY location. This full-time position reports to the Finger Joint department Supervisor on 2nd shift. Position Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move materials and support production within the mill. Key Responsibilities: · Review daily orders to determine material requirements and follow direction from the supervisor regarding updates or changes. · Supply materials to production lines to meet daily production goals. · Transport finished products to designated storage areas. · Conduct daily forklift inspections and report any issues. · Assist with general production tasks as needed. Qualifications and Competencies: · High school diploma or equivalent required. · Ability to regularly lift and maneuver up to 30 lbs. · Demonstrated stable work history. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Flexibility to perform a variety of assigned duties.
