Job Overview Forklift Operator in a Corrugated Conversion Facility Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday Available Shifts: 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team at our corrugated converting facility. This position will be responsible for safely moving materials, supplying production lines, and handling work-in-process and finished goods to support daily manufacturing and shipping operations. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished corrugated products. Load and unload trucks as needed. Supply production lines with materials to maintain an efficient workflow. Move, stack, and organize finished products in designated warehouse and storage areas. Stage customer orders for shipment. Perform routine forklift inspections and report equipment issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and operating practices. Assist with general warehouse and production duties as needed. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts. Must pass an internal forklift operation and safety assessment. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning for logistics purposes. Basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy verification. Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills in a fast-paced setting. Manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling experience is a plus. Experience with moving/loading/unloading non-palletized units is preferred. Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
