Forklift Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will operate various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload goods within our distribution center. Your expertise will ensure safe, accurate, and timely order fulfillment, contributing directly to our operational success. Duties Safely operate forklifts and order pickers, to transport materials across the warehouse Perform heavy lifting tasks with proper technique to prevent injury and damage Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records accurately Assist with order picking by retrieving products from shelves according to order specifications Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safety standards are maintained Support warehouse distribution processes by organizing stock and preparing shipments for dispatch Collaborate with team members to optimize storage space and streamline workflow processes Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution environments with forklift operation proficiency Certification in forklift operation, including clamp truck handling and order picker use Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues and performing basic maintenance Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and standing for extended periods Excellent attention to detail for accurate order picking and inventory management Join us in a role that energizes your skills and drives our logistics operations forward!
