others and to the freight is paramount.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The dock is quite noisy due to the ongoing movement of forklifts and the volume of tractor trailers that
enter and exit the terminal. The weather conditions consists of cold days during the winter months and
hot days during the summer months due to a non-insulated building and the dock doors being open quite
frequently. The worker needs to be extra cautious when operating the forklift when areas throughout the
dock become congested as additional operators and freight arrive into the terminal.
