Forklift Operator - 1st shift

What does it mean to be a part of our Reach Lift Operator team? As a Reach Lift Operator, you will use a piece of equipment called Reach Lift to move products within the warehouse. It is designed to work in narrow aisles, allowing operators to reach high shelves while maintaining stability. These lifts are ideal for storing and retrieving goods from elevated storage spaces, offering enhanced maneuverability compared to traditional forklifts. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring products are readily available for various teams within the warehouse. Schedule 3am or 4am – 11:30 AM or 12:00 PM (Monday – Friday) Pay Starting wage is $23.75/hr $1.25/hr for 3am start Why work at UNFI of Prescott, WI? Weekly paychecks Medical, dental and vision benefits after 30 days of employment 401K contribution with company match Paid Leave Time earned Up to $75 in annual safety shoe reimbursement Eligible for holiday pay on day 1 of employment Onsite pantry / store available for all associates Essential Functions And Basic Duties Reports to the shipping office at the beginning of each shift for the daily assignment, vehicle inspection sheet and replenishment discrepancies sheet. Inspects assigned lift and completes vehicle inspection sheet. Replenishes pick slots using the view request screen. If no requests exist, use the manual replenish screen to fill empty or almost empty slots. Performs knockdowns for selectors when needed; cuts and removes shrink wrap from all knockdowns. Maintains correct counts and logs any discrepancies in inventory. Verifies that the correct product is being put in the appropriate pick location. Removes all empty pallets from pick locations and aisles. Separates the good, bad, and blue pallets and neatly stages in pallet staging area. Parks and recharges lift in its appropriate spot at the end of the shift. Perform duties in accordance with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) policies and procedures, as appropriate for location. Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
