Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of warehouse functions, including picking and packing products according to customer and internal requirements.
• Load, unload, move, put away, and stage products and materials using a forklift, sit-down forklift, pacer, order picker, reach truck, or other powered industrial equipment.
• Operate an order picker that elevates you up to approximately 8 feet, following all safety protocols while working at height.
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures, and consistently maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform daily inspections on forklifts and other powered industrial equipment, and report any issues or concerns promptly.
• Check orders for accuracy to ensure correct items, quantities, and labeling before shipment.
• Prepare products for shipment by properly packaging, labeling, and staging orders for outbound transport.
• Perform general housekeeping responsibilities to keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Work as directed by leadership, adapting to multiple functions and tasks within the warehouse as needed.
• Handle moderate physical activity throughout the shift, including lifting and carrying products weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations and team goals.
Essential Skills
• Previous warehouse experience, demonstrating familiarity with warehouse processes and operations.
• Comfort operating powered industrial trucks (PIT), including forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and pacers; 6 months or more of PIT experience is appreciated but not required.
• Ability to work safely at heights, including being elevated up to approximately 8 feet on an order picker.
• Ability to identify, locate, and move products accurately, including the ability to read, count, and perform basic math functions.
• Ability to handle moderate physical activity throughout the shift, including lifting and carrying products up to 40 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 18 years or older.
• Safety-minded, team-oriented, motivated, and responsible approach to work.
• Strong, positive attitude and commitment to long-term development within the role.
• Willingness and ability to work Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., including an initial training schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for approximately three weeks.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed, including early start times (such as 4:00 a.m.) and occasional Saturdays with advance notice.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts, pacers, and reach trucks in a warehouse environment.
• Prior experience performing daily inspections and basic maintenance checks on powered industrial equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a supportive and respectful team environment.
• Strong attention to detail when checking orders for accuracy and preparing products for shipment.
• Willingness to cross-train and perform multiple functions within the warehouse as operational needs change.
