Forklift Mechanic
Oxford forklift service``` Job Title: Forklift mechanic or any kind of mechanic Will train right candidate Duties: - Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, such as checking fluid levels and inspecting tires, repair of forklifts and diagnosing problems. - Ensure safe operation of the forklift and comply with all safety regulations - Assist with inventory control by accurately recording parts used Qualifications: - Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks - Proficient in using hand tools and equipment related to forklift operation - Familiarity with different types of forklifts - Ability to read and interpret work orders and follow instructions - Experience with automotive repair or farm machinery is a plus - Welding skills are a plus Physical Requirements: - Able to safely operate lift trucks and vehicles - Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach below knee level, grip/grasp, work with arm outreached, and work above chest level - Able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs - Able to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 100 lbs, reach above shoulder level, climb stairs, ladders, torque, use vibratory tools and pinch grip - Able to work in all weather elements We offer competitive pay, boot allowance, uniforms .
