FORKLIFT MATERIAL HANDLER & PRODUCTION SUPPORT

Seeking an ambitious and qualified forklift material handler to join our team in Temple, TX. This role will play an essential part in supporting our automated fluid packaging and distribution operation. This is a first-shift, full-time role. Schedule based on production needs and may vary slightly from week to week. Facility currently operates first shift, Monday - Thursday, 5 AM start with Friday operations or extended hours based on production demand. Primary responsibilities will include/require: Safe operation of forklift and material-handling equipment. Review and monitor the production schedule to ensure required materials are staged, available and delivered to the production line in a timely manner. Coordinate with production and warehouse personnel to maintain an efficient flow of materials and finished goods throughout the operation. Perform end of line quality check to confirm finished product and pallets meet established quality criteria. Accurately complete electronic documentation and tracking of finished products, pallets and material movements. Ensure finished products are properly wrapped, labeled, secured and prepared for storage or shipment. Safely move, stage and load finished products from the production line into designated warehouse locations. Assist with production line changeovers to help ensure timely production runs. Move finished goods, raw materials, packaging materials, and other inventory throughout the warehouse and production areas as needed. Support warehouse shipping and receiving activities as needed, including loading and unloading trucks, staging shipments, and moving materials to designated locations. Assist with cycle counts, inventory checks, and reconciliation of material or product quantities as assigned. Keep working area organized and clean (5S). Other tasks and duties as needed/assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma required. Fork truck experience and certification required. Capable of physically demanding work (i.e. ability to repeatedly lift 25-to-60-pound packages). Prefer work experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with at least one year of employment with the same employer. Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills preferred. Possess good communication skills and work ethic. Willingness to continually improve skills and processes. Mandatory pre-employment physical & drug-screen.
