Overview We’re hiring Forklift / Material Handlers for a large, established plastics manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on material handling role responsible for keeping production areas supplied and moving finished and work-in-process materials throughout the facility. You’ll use a forklift to deliver materials, supplies, and WIP to manufacturing areas, move completed products into storage, and help ensure production teams have what they need to keep operating without interruption. What makes this role great: Independent Work: Take ownership of your area, priorities, inventory organization, and material flow throughout the shift 50% of Your Days Off: Rotating 12-hour schedules + ability to choose either days or nights Direct Path to Advancement: Advanced production and lead roles are filled from the shop floor, creating opportunities for promotion Compensation $17/hr – Day shift $18/hr – Night shift Built-in overtime through the rotating schedules Full-time, direct-hire – not a temp job Shift Multiple openings are available on both days and nights: Day Shift: Rotating 2-2-3 schedule, 12-hour shifts Night Shift: Rotating 4-on / 4-off schedule, 12-hour shifts Responsibilities: Forklift Operation: Safely transport work-in-process materials, finished products, supplies, and other materials throughout the manufacturing facility. Production Support: Plan, stage, and deliver required materials and supplies to production areas to maintain steady manufacturing output. Pick & Pack Support: Work closely with Pick & Pack personnel to ensure orders and materials are accurate and delivered on time. Material Verification: Check incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, condition, and quality before movement or delivery. Inventory & Storage: Maintain organized and accurate storage racks and material locations used by production and Pick & Pack teams. Supply Monitoring: Communicate with production and other departments to prevent material or supply shortages from disrupting operations. Requirements Qualifications : Required Ability to safely perform physical, hands-on material handling work throughout a 12-hour shift Strong attention to safety, material accuracy, and organization Ability to communicate effectively with production and warehouse teams Ability to read and follow work instructions, labels, and material documentation Reliable attendance and punctuality Preferred Previous forklift experience Previous material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or production experience High school diploma or GED Basic computer skills
