Forklift Loader

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loader to join our dynamic warehouse team. Duties Load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with order picking and packing to ensure accurate and timely shipment processing. Operate material handling equipment including RF scanners, forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks to move goods efficiently within the warehouse. Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and proper lifting techniques to prevent injury. Manage inventory by accurately recording stock movements, using inventory management systems, and maintaining organized storage areas. Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Participate in warehouse safety procedures, including routine inspections, safety protocol adherence, and reporting hazards or incidents promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments. Familiarity with order picker operations, RF scanners, forklift driving, and heavy equipment operation. Strong understanding of warehouse operations including materials handling, inventory management, shipping & receiving processes. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments. Prior experience with warehouse supervisor responsibilities or overseeing warehouse activities is a plus.
