Forklift Field Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and repair, with hands-on experience using various tools and machinery. This role involves working in diverse environments, performing maintenance and repairs on equipment, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Duties Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on heavy equipment Conduct routine maintenance and repairs using hand tools and power tools. Interpret schematics to understand equipment functionality and repair requirements. Execute repair tasks as needed, ensuring all work meets industry standards. Operate heavy equipment safely during repairs or maintenance tasks. Assist in heavy lifting operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each task. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy equipment operation and repair Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Familiarity with forklift repair practices is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to machinery operations. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
