You will support customers throughout Berks, Montgomery, and Lehigh Counties without needing to report to the Boyertown headquarters every day.
Responsibilities
● Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair all makes and models of forklifts and material handling equipment.
● Perform planned maintenance on customer and company forklifts.
● Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
● Maintain your service van and parts inventory.
● Complete daily time sheets, repair work orders, maintenance checklists, and parts requisitions.
● Communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and management regarding service
needs and repairs.
Qualifications
● Previous forklift repair experience required.
● Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
● Ability to read service manuals, interpret schematics, and use diagnostic instruments.
● Strong communication and customer service skills.
● Must have basic hand tools.
● Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and clean driving record.
