Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks, to efficiently load, unload, and organize inventory within our warehouse. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced distribution environment while developing your skills in warehouse management and equipment operation. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments. Assist with order picking using barcode scanning systems and manual methods to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage inventory by organizing stock in designated warehouse areas, conducting regular stock counts, and updating warehouse management systems (WMS). Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment; troubleshoot minor issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Follow OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety protocols and warehouse safety standards to prevent accidents during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks. Maintain a clean, organized work environment by adhering to warehouse distribution procedures and safety standards in production areas. Requirements Proven experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or similar heavy equipment within a warehouse setting. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following manual handling protocols. Basic math skills for measuring quantities, reading labels, and verifying shipment details. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for inventory control and order accuracy. Prior experience in shipping & receiving operations or warehouse distribution is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
