Forklift driver/ warehouse

Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our logistics operations! In this energetic role, you will operate various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts, to efficiently handle materials and manage inventory. Your expertise will ensure safe, accurate, and timely shipping and receiving processes while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, equipment repair, and materials handling within a fast-paced distribution setting. Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment following OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols Load and unload shipments accurately using barcode scanning for logistics and order picker tools Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision to meet delivery deadlines Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS), perform stock counts, and update records accordingly Assist in shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage of goods Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety standards in production and manual handling procedures Qualifications Proven experience operating forklift trucks (including reach trucks, cherry pickers, Hi-Lo) and other material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and clamp trucks Strong understanding of warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling Knowledge of safety standards in production environments such as OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy Excellent manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently Prior warehouse experience with a focus on heavy equipment operation or warehouse distribution is highly desirable Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence in logistics!
