Forklift Driver

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Driver to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts and equipment to efficiently manage warehouse distribution operations. Your expertise in handling heavy loads, order picking, and warehouse management systems will play a vital part in ensuring smooth and accurate inventory movement. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse Perform heavy lifting tasks with precision, ensuring proper handling of all materials Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately Assist with order picking processes by selecting products according to order specifications Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse layout and improve distribution efficiency Follow safety protocols diligently and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers in a warehouse setting Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues when necessary Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods Prior experience with order picking and warehouse operations is preferred Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire Join us in a fast-paced environment where your skills make a real impact!
