Forklift Operator – Warehouse Eagle Cold Storage / Traveler Produce LLC Pharr, TX 78577 Job Type: On-site About Us Eagle Cold Storage / Traveler Produce LLC is a growing produce distribution and cold storage company located in Pharr, Texas. We specialize in the handling, storage, and distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables. We are seeking responsible, motivated, and experienced Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. Job Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, unload, and organize products. Load and unload trailers while ensuring accurate product quantities. Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming shipments. Pick and prepare orders according to shipping instructions. Verify product quantities, pallet tags, and lot numbers before loading. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems. Organize pallets and merchandise in designated storage areas. Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory rotation procedures as applicable. Conduct daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues. Follow company food safety procedures and warehouse safety regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, and loading errors to supervisors. Assist with general warehouse operations as needed. Requirements & Qualifications Minimum of 3 months of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution center. Experience loading and unloading trailers. Ability to safely operate forklifts and electric or manual pallet jacks. Basic understanding of warehouse inventory procedures. Ability to read pallet labels, lot numbers, and shipping documents. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in refrigerated warehouse environments. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Willingness to follow all company safety and food handling procedures. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in produce warehouses, cold storage, or food distribution facilities. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS). Experience handling perishable products. Knowledge of inventory rotation procedures. Previous forklift safety training.
