Forklift Driver

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Stand Up Forklift Driver to join our manufacturing warehouse team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility. Your work will support production operations, ensure accurate inventory control, and maintain an organized warehouse environment. Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and production areas Move raw materials to production lines and transport finished goods to storage or shipping areas Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers in compliance with OSHA safety standards Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to track inventory and update records accurately Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safe operation and report maintenance needs Stack, organize, and store materials properly to maintain a clean and efficient workspace Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment Qualifications Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Valid forklift certification Strong understanding of warehouse operations, shipping and receiving procedures, and inventory control Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners preferred Knowledge of OSHA safety standards Ability to safely lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment inspection and troubleshooting is a plus Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract, Temp-to-hire Work Location: In person
