Forklift Dealership Parts Manager

Summary: Responsible to organize and coordinate all functions of the Parts department. Duties and responsibilities include the following: · Provide exceptional customer service – internal and external · Insure parts are ordered, returned, and inventoried · Ability to maintain proper inventory and carry proper count · Knowledge of equipment being serviced and parts utilized · Maintain and organize Parts warehouse · Insure proper procedures and controls are in place to maximize profitability · Answer phones, respond to emails, return calls as discussed · Receive parts same day or first thing the next morning if delivered after 4pm · Source parts at the best price · Understand market tolerance for mark up on parts · Update parts pricing as we receive increases from vendors · Ability to work as an individual and as a team member · Issuing PO’s and insuring they are closed out and billed to customer · Assisting sales with quotes · Utilize management skills to follow up on items not closed out · Making sure all issues and/or problems are fixed as soon as possible · Fluent in Softbase – back up if someone is out, able to train someone on software, (making sure someone knows your duties if you are out) · Performs other related duties as assigned **This is a salary plus commission earning position** Skills: Source and Procure Sense of Urgency Problem Solving Detail Oriented Written/Verbal Communication Organizing and Planning Time Management Education/Experience: High School Diploma or Equivalency Prior Experience preferred Pay: From $60,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
