Forklift

The Forklift Operator position involves operating a forklift to manage the unloading and packing of raw materials. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and a focus on employee well-being. Responsibilities Must complete fork truck operator certification from the HR Manager Loading and unloading: Move materials from trucks and other vehicles, and stack them for storage Performs put-away movements from dock to storage locations Moving materials:Transport materials around the warehouse, including pallets of goods Inspects Forklift at the start of each shift Reports any issues to supervisor Keeps warehouse clean Perform other duties and special projects as needed and assigned Resourceful, figure it out and get-it-done mentality with a track record of accuracy and exceptional quality work. Self-motivated and able to work independently and be a team player Committed, reliable and hard-working with a track record of stellar attendance and punctuality Unload raw material trucks from the dock Change out propane cylinders You must be at least 18 years old. Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to perform basic math. Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and ability with spatial relationships. Efficient individual with excellent time management skills. Ability to lift 75 pounds. Attention to detail. Working knowledge of basic tools and vehicle maintenance a plus. Complete a formal forklift operator training program, which includes both classroom instruction and hands-on practice.
