Fork Lift Operator - Monday - Friday - $22/Hour

Overview Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Fork Lift Operator, working Monday through Friday to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently! In this vital role, you'll operate various types of material handling equipment, including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, and forklifts, to move, load, and unload goods with precision and safety. Duties Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load and unload materials Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to OSHA safety standards Manage inventory by accurately scanning barcodes for logistics tracking and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders efficiently while maintaining accuracy Load and unload shipments using heavy lifting techniques while following manual handling protocols Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to warehouse safety protocols in all tasks Experience Proven experience operating warehouse material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, or Hi-Lo forklifts Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology for logistics purposes Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling Prior experience in warehouse operations including inventory management, order picking, shipping & receiving Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and measurements Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of heavy lifting techniques in a warehouse setting Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution processes is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible impact!
