Fork Lift Driver - Cold Storage

Responsibilities Operate various types of forklifts including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods within the cold storage facility Safely handle materials using manual handling techniques and adhere strictly to forklift safety protocols and OSHA standards Manage inventory by accurately scanning barcodes, updating warehouse management systems (WMS), and conducting regular stock counts Assist with order picking using equipment like order pickers and ensure accurate loading and unloading for shipping & receiving processes Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials efficiently and maintaining a clean, safe work environment Follow all safety standards in production environments, including proper lifting techniques and hazard identification Skills Must be Bilingual Proven experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts (reach truck, cherry picker, clamp truck, Hi-Lo), pallet jacks, and lift trucks Strong understanding of warehouse operations including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and order picking Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology for logistics accuracy Familiarity with OSHA regulations, forklift safety protocols, manual handling procedures, and heavy equipment operation standards Ability to perform basic math calculations related to weights, measurements, and inventory counts Excellent attention to detail for inventory accuracy and order fulfillment Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and warehouse supervisors Join us in delivering excellence in cold storage logistics!
