Foreman, Landscape Hardscape

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Foreman, Landscape Hardscape to lead and oversee hardscaping construction projects within our landscape division. In this dynamic role, you will manage crews, coordinate project timelines, and ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety. Your expertise in hardscaping elements such as patios, retaining walls, walkways, and outdoor structures will drive successful project completion while maintaining excellent client satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase leadership skills and technical knowledge in outdoor hardscape construction. Duties Lead and supervise landscape hardscape crews during the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, and other outdoor structures. Coordinate project schedules, materials procurement, and workflow to ensure timely completion of projects. Oversee the operation of grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment, including ground grinders, compactors, saws, and other tools essential for hardscape construction. Manage safety protocols on-site to guarantee a secure working environment for all team members. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are met throughout each phase of the project. Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to interpret plans and specifications accurately. Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, crew hours, materials used, and any issues encountered during construction. Requirements Proven experience supervising landscape or hardscape construction projects with a strong focus on hardscaping elements such as pavers, stonework, or concrete structures. Extensive outdoor work experience with knowledge of groundskeeping, gardening, lawn care, and landscape maintenance practices. Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate crews effectively. Strong understanding of plant identification, horticulture principles, irrigation systems management (including irrigation installation and repair), and grounds maintenance techniques. Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment and company vehicles safely and efficiently. Excellent leadership qualities combined with clear communication skills to coordinate tasks seamlessly. Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications related to hardscaping projects. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles is preferred. Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; attention to detail in maintaining quality standards is essential.
