Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Foreman/Electrician to lead and execute electrical construction projects within the commercial and infrastructure sectors. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee electrical installations, manage teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical systems, construction management, and team supervision, combined with a passion for delivering high-quality work in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical crews on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are strictly followed. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs. Coordinate construction schedules with project managers using construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, or Prolog to ensure timely project progression. Manage daily site operations, including material procurement, equipment usage, and work sequencing to optimize productivity. Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and quality control checks in compliance with OSHA and federal safety regulations. Review construction drawings for accuracy and clarity; oversee blueprint reading sessions with team members. Collaborate with project stakeholders to review contracts, manage budgets, and track project progress using heavyBid or similar estimating tools. Supervise subcontractors and manage crew performance through effective communication and leadership skills. Ensure all work adheres to construction regulations, safety standards, and client specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of project activities, safety incidents, and daily reports for transparency and accountability. Qualifications Proven experience as a foreman or lead electrician on commercial or heavy civil construction projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P3, Prolog, HeavyBid, or equivalent tools. Hands-on experience with construction site safety practices aligned with OSHA standards and federal regulations. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards and quality control. Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong management skills including budgeting, resource allocation, and contract review. Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Valid electrician’s license or relevant certifications; additional credentials in construction management are a plus.
