Job Summary As a Ford Parts Counterperson, you’ll help customers and service teams find the right parts and accessories for their vehicles. You’ll combine automotive parts knowledge, customer service, and organized inventory practices to keep orders accurate and moving. Your impact: By matching customers with the correct parts and coordinating timely order fulfillment, you help support safe vehicle maintenance and dependable repairs. Duties Assist retail and service customers with parts selection, availability, pricing, and order status in person and by phone. Use knowledge of vehicle systems, automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repair to identify suitable parts and accessories; consult references or colleagues when needed. Process sales and payments through a point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash, and apply retail math accurately. Receive, stock, locate, and fulfill orders while maintaining inventory control and accurate records, including through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), if used. Build customer relationships through clear communication, professional phone etiquette, and thoughtful negotiation; support sales management goals and coordinate with automotive service teams. Experience Customer service, retail sales, cashiering, or automotive parts sales experience is valuable; dealership experience is preferred. Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, mechanical troubleshooting, or general mechanical systems is an asset. Familiarity with inventory management, stocking, order fulfillment, Microsoft Office, POS systems, and CMMS is helpful. Bring strong communication, client communication, organizational, and math skills, plus careful cash handling. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are welcome. Prefer Ford experience. CDK experience a plus!
