Food Service Equipment & Supply Chain Manager

Brown Point Facility Management Solutions are seeking an experienced and highly organized Food Service Equipment & Supply Chain Manager to oversee the sourcing, supply, servicing, and management of commercial food service equipment. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with food service equipment manufacturers, distributors, brokers, and subcontractors to support equipment procurement, installation, maintenance, and repair services across our customer portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the commercial food service equipment industry, established industry relationships, and experience managing vendor networks, equipment procurement, and service operations. Key Responsibilities Food Service Equipment Management Oversee the sourcing, procurement, supply, and servicing of commercial food service equipment. Coordinate equipment installation, preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacement services. Develop solutions for customer equipment needs while balancing cost, quality, and service delivery. Maintain knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, including refrigeration, cooking equipment, dishwashing systems, and related food service equipment. Coordinate equipment availability, lead times, and delivery schedules. Manufacturer, Broker & Supplier Relationships Develop and maintain strategic relationships with food service equipment manufacturers, brokers, distributors, and suppliers. Negotiate competitive pricing, purchasing agreements, service arrangements, and supply terms. Identify new manufacturer and distributor partnerships to expand equipment offerings and service capabilities. Leverage industry relationships to improve purchasing opportunities, equipment availability, and profitability. Evaluate supplier performance, pricing, responsiveness, and product quality. Subcontractor & Vendor Management Recruit, develop, and manage a network of qualified commercial food service equipment service providers and subcontractors. Identify and establish service coverage across multiple geographic markets. Coordinate subcontractor assignments for equipment installation, repairs, maintenance, and emergency service requests. Ensure subcontractors meet company standards for quality, responsiveness, pricing, insurance, and compliance. Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve service-related issues. Negotiate competitive subcontractor labor rates and service agreements. Supply Chain & Operational Management Develop efficient processes for equipment sourcing, purchasing, delivery, installation, and servicing. Identify opportunities to reduce equipment and service costs while maintaining quality. Collaborate with internal operations and contract management teams to fulfill customer requirements. Support pricing, proposals, and equipment-related service opportunities. Maintain accurate vendor, manufacturer, subcontractor, and equipment records. Identify opportunities to expand the company's commercial food service equipment supply and service offerings. Qualifications Required Experience in commercial food service equipment, equipment distribution, supply chain management, or related service operations. Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, manufacturers, distributors, and service providers. Experience developing and managing manufacturer, supplier, broker, or subcontractor relationships. Strong negotiation, vendor management, and relationship-building skills. Ability to coordinate multiple equipment procurement and service requests simultaneously. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Experience managing pricing, purchasing, and service costs. Preferred Established relationships within the commercial food service equipment industry. Experience working with food service equipment manufacturers, dealers, brokers, or distributors.
