Food Packaging & Fulfillment Associate (Part-Time)

Poppleton Pantry is a Michigan snack mix brand sold regionally in independent grocers. Our recipes started with our founder’s grandmother. We need steady hands to help package product and ship orders. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am–3pm Pay: $19–$22/hr based on ServSafe Food Handler certification status and experience, paid as a 1099 contractor What you need: ServSafe Food Handler certificate preferred, or earn it within 14 days of starting Food service or warehouse experience preferred, not required Basic math skills and close attention to detail Ability to follow packaging, food safety, and shipping procedures Accurate, steady, and on time Able to stand for up to 6 hours with regular bending, reaching, and twisting Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs repeatedly Why join: Schedule fits restaurant workers, parents, and retirees Small business where you’ll see your impact What you’ll do: Package and seal snack mix to recipe and weight specs Label, case, and stage finished product Pick, pack, and ship online and wholesale orders accurately Follow quality control and food safety steps, including gloves and hairnets Receive and stock supplies and ingredients Load and unload cases and materials Keep the workspace clean, organized, and food-safe Track counts, support inventory, and flag low supplies Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week Work Location: In person
