Overview Join our dynamic food manufacturing team as a Food Manufacturing Supervisor! In this pivotal role, you will lead production operations, ensuring that all food products meet rigorous quality and safety standards while maintaining optimal efficiency. You will oversee daily manufacturing activities, manage teams, and uphold compliance with industry regulations to deliver high-quality food products to consumers. Your energetic leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of safety, sanitation, and excellence throughout the plant. Duties Supervise daily food production activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and FDA regulations. Manage and coordinate manufacturing teams, providing clear direction, training, and support to optimize productivity and teamwork. Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards in production, sanitation protocols, and packaging requirements. Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality across all manufacturing stages. Oversee sanitation procedures and ensure the plant maintains high levels of cleanliness in accordance with sanitation standards. Utilize SAP (Systems Applications and Products) or similar ERP systems for inventory management, production scheduling, and reporting. Ensure regulatory/legal compliance standards are met consistently throughout all manufacturing operations. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety management practices including HACCP, GMP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and FDA regulations. Proven experience managing food production or processing plant operations within the food & beverage industry. Excellent managerial communication skills to lead teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment. Ability to interpret basic math for quality control calculations, inventory management, and process adjustments. Deep understanding of food processing techniques, packaging processes, and safety standards in production environments. Experience with manufacturing management systems such as SAP or equivalent ERP platforms. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing manufacturing workflows and product quality.
