Duties Safely operate various types of vehicles including vans, box trucks, or personal vehicles to deliver food orders promptly and accurately Load and unload delivery items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary Follow optimized route plans using mobile devices to ensure efficient delivery schedules while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and provide friendly service Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Document deliveries accurately, including recording delivery times and handling any issues that arise during transit Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including moving supplies or inventory using manual handling practices and warehouse equipment Requirements Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services, with a strong focus on customer service excellence Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., personal vehicle, van driver license) and clean driving record Experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation, and heavy lifting practices Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, weight handling in the workplace, and safe lifting practices Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication during deliveries Embark on a lively career path where your driving skills meet your passion for service!
