Food Delivery Driver

Checker Board Pizza is looking for reliable, friendly, and responsible Delivery Drivers to join our team! As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering orders to customers safely, accurately, and in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, has a positive attitude, and takes pride in ensuring every customer receives their order with a great experience. Responsibilities Deliver pizzas and other food orders to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Verify order accuracy before leaving the restaurant. Provide friendly and courteous customer service during every delivery. Follow assigned delivery routes and use GPS or navigation tools efficiently. Handle cash, credit card payments, and customer transactions accurately. Maintain communication with restaurant staff regarding delivery status, delays, and customer concerns. Keep delivery bags clean and ensure food is transported safely. Maintain a clean, safe, and reliable personal vehicle. Follow all traffic laws and restaurant safety procedures. Assist with in-store duties when not making deliveries, including answering phones, preparing orders, cleaning, and restocking supplies. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Valid driver's license. Reliable personal vehicle with valid auto insurance. A safe driving record. Ability to use GPS and follow delivery instructions. Strong communication and customer service skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay. Keep 100% of customer tips.
