Food Delivery Driver

We are looking for someone who can deliver to our sibling locations in Worcester from approximately 530AM - 8 or 9 AM. A good opportunity to tack on a few hours before another job, perhaps. Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles. If you have a passion for driving and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at destinations. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with co-workers during deliveries. Qualifications Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including familiarity with heavy lifting and moving goods. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous. Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the day. Experience with route driving is beneficial for efficient navigation of delivery areas. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and adaptability in changing environments is essential.
