Our organization currently includes a women’s professional soccer team competing in the Gainbridge Super League, with a men’s professional soccer team joining USL League One in March. Beyond professional soccer, Fort Lauderdale United operates a growing soccer academy and volleyball academy, along with NFL FLAG football programming, with basketball and lacrosse programs also in development. Position Overview The Food & Beverage Procurement & Inventory Manager oversees purchasing, inventory, vendor relationships, product strategy, cost controls, and sponsorship integration for Fort Lauderdale United FC’s food and beverage operations. This role ensures our four stadium bars, Coquina, professional matches, and special events are properly stocked while minimizing waste, shortages, and unnecessary costs. Working closely with Operations and Partnerships, this individual will integrate sponsored products into menus, develop signature drinks, support partner activations, and identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability. We are seeking an organized, proactive professional who understands hospitality operations and can implement efficient, scalable systems. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Purchasing Manage purchasing and replenishment of food, beverages, alcohol, and operational supplies. Forecast demand based on event schedules, attendance, and historical sales. Maintain appropriate stock levels, coordinate deliveries, and prevent shortages. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and identify purchasing efficiencies. Inventory Management & Controls Maintain accurate inventory across Coquina, stadium bars, and events. Establish inventory counts, reconciliation procedures, and product tracking systems. Monitor waste, shrinkage, spoilage, and inventory discrepancies. Maintain organized storage areas and proper product rotation. Partner & Sponsorship Integration Collaborate with Partnerships to fulfill food and beverage sponsorship commitments. Integrate partner products into menus, signature cocktails, promotions, and special events. Coordinate sponsored product availability, deliveries, and activations. Identify opportunities to increase partner visibility, sales, and sponsorship value. Support partnership reporting with relevant product and sales information. Menu & Product Strategy Evaluate menus based on sales, margins, customer demand, and partner commitments. Collaborate with leadership on product selection, pricing, and menu development. Develop seasonal offerings, signature drinks, and event-specific menus. Identify underperforming products and recommend improvements. Cost Control & Financial Performance Monitor purchasing expenses, cost of goods, product margins, and inventory losses. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or guest experience. Analyze purchasing and sales trends to improve profitability. Recommend pricing, vendor, and product mix adjustments. Event Planning & Coordination Forecast product needs for matches, private events, and community programming. Coordinate with Operations to ensure all locations are properly stocked. Support Partnerships and Marketing with promotional and activation requirements. Maintain purchasing plans aligned with the club’s event calendar. Reporting & Systems Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and vendor records.
